H.E. Kofi Annan returns to Nairobi

Kofi Annan, Chair of the Panel of Eminent African Personalities and broker in the power-sharing deal between President Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga, arrived tonight in Nairobi on the inviation of the President. Mr. Annan will attend the swearing in of the new Cabinet Thursday 17 April at State House. Mr. Annan, who left Kenya on 2 March shortly after the power-sharing agreement had been signed, urged all Kenyans to work together with the President and the Prime Minister to heal and reconcile the nation..
